Sulphur Springs man burned when meth lab catches fire

By Kevin Jefferies

Sulphur Springs – A Suspected meth lab in Sulphur Springs caught fire Saturday, burning one man. Sulphur Springs police and fire departments responded to a fire in a storage building, and were told one man, later identified as Christopher Glenn Brown, had been burned when the building caught fire. The fire was mostly burned out by the time officials arrived, but police said it was fairly obvious someone had attempted to remove evidence from the lab before the department's arrival. Brown had been taken to a hospital before police arrived, and has been named a suspect for trying to manufacture methamphetamines.
