Music fans of the 1990's will no doubt recall the huge hit for Dallas native Lisa Loeb called "Stay (I Missed You)."  More than 20 years later, that platinum selling song is still a fan favorite at her shows.

Lisa's latest record, the family oriented  "Feel What You Feel," features guest cameos from Craig Robinson and Ed Helms, and was inspired by the bespectacled singer's fond memories of childhood, summer camps, and the eclectic music featured on old-school variety television.

Lisa spoke with Notably Texan from her home in Los Angeles about her love for public radio, her Texas homesickness, and the new record.

More about Lisa's various projects, her eyewear collection, and more can be found on her site.

Notably Texan airs weekdays from Noon-3 on KETR.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Matt moved to the Sulphur Springs area in 1990 and settled in Commerce shortly thereafter. Having dreamed of working in radio since childhood, he began working at KETR while taking Radio-Television courses at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1993. Matt has transitioned from a part-time worker and pupil of KETR, to the station’s Chief Announcer/Producer and supervisor of student broadcasters. A familiar voice of 88-9 KETR, Matt has hosted such shows as The Late Nite Lion, and can currently be heard as host of Notably Texan.
