In Commerce today, university students have scheduled a peaceful protest to happen on campus. The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Gee Lake. The Greenville Herald-Banner reports that the event is organized to show solidarity with African-American communities. The report also says that police will be present at the event and there will be zero tolerance for violence. Participants are asked to bring water, lawn chairs, and signs, the report said.
