Kim Saenz, the emergency department director of the Hunt Regional Emergency Medical Center in Commerce, says heat exhaustion and heat stroke are a serious risk in the weather we've been having in Northeast Texas.  She says it's important to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water to prevent heat exhaustion in the first place.  It's recommend that you drink about 64 ounces of water a day, unless certain medications make that inadvisable.
