What and Where Northeast Texans Can Donate for Harvey’s Victims

Area organizations are collecting non-perishable foods and other supplies for Harvey relief.

Northeast Texans are collecting food and supplies for victims of and refugees from Hurricane Harvey. Below is a list of some of the organizations and locations collecting items, and what they are taking.

American Legion West Tawakoni Post No. 517, 236 TX-276, Quinlan

Items needed:  Personal hygiene products, drinks, non-perishable food, pet food, and clothing.

Items Needed: Non-perishable food , baby food, diapers, deodorant, oral care, wet wipes, feminine products, hairbrushes, hand sanitizer, new socks and underwear, pet food.

Items needed: bottled water, paper towels, diapers, wipes, toiletries; feminine products.

Bethlehem Baptist Church House of Bread, 1415 Franklin Ave., Bonham (through Wednesday, Aug. 30)

Items Needed: canned and non-perishable food, toiletries, cooking oils, and shelf-stable milk

Rockwall Helping Hands, 401 Rusk Street

Items needed: gently used clothing, toiletries. Also seeking volunteers.

Longhorn RV and Accessories, 212 S. Pacific St., Mineola (through Thursday, Aug. 31)

Items needed: Non-perishable food.
