  • Today the Public Utility Commission of Texas made a number of changes to the way electricity is bought and sold here. The Commission says the overhaul should improve electric reliability, but others say there’s little analysis to back that up.

  • In Greenville, a 15-year-old girl who was struck by a vehicle on Wesley Street Tuesday was taken to a Dallas-area hospital in stable condition, according to a release from the City of Greenville this afternoon. Police do not plan to file charges related to the incident, the release said.

  • Sulphur Springs school distict officials have named Joe Boedingheimer the next principal of Sulphur Springs MIddle School. Boedingheimer will replace outgoing principal Jena Williams, who plans to retire at the end of January.
