Pud Kearns, with Housewarmers of Greenville and a leader of Bras for the Cause, says the event will be virtual this year, with three separate Facebook Live programs starting at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 8.  Proceeds will benefit Hunt Regional Healthcare cancer-treatment facilities.

Pud Kearns with Housewarmers of Greenville says the Majors Flying Club of Greenville meets at 11:30 Saturay at the L3 Recreation Hall.  Their meeting topic is "10 Tips for Recovering Bad Landings."  The club is for pilots and people interested in becoming pilots.  Members have access to the club's planes, which are maintained at the Majors Field Airport.

Bras for the Cause is committing to fund a $500,000 4-D CT scanner for the Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville that would provide extremely precise cross-section images used in diagnosing all forms of cancer.
