Lori Cope, the director of the Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Hunt County, says a new training session for volunteers begins Monday evening (June 22).  The CASA volunteers advocate for children involved in court-contested custody cases.

The CASA for KIDS of Delta, Red River and Lamar Counties has just announced their award for certification by the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association.  This recognizes their compliance with National CASA’s high standards for quality child advocacy.
