Pud Kearns with Housewarmers of Greenville says a workshop on the city's new comprehensive plan will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, August 13 at the Reecy Davis Recreation Center at 4320 Lee Street and is open to the public.  A display of the material will be on view from 2 to 8 p.m., and then will be on view at the W.

Pud Kearns with Housewarmers of Greenville says the Reecy Davis Sr. Recreation Center in Greenville has recently enjoyed some facility improvements.  The center, located at 4320 Lee Street west of downtown, offers senior citizens the opportunity for walking and other exercise activities.  A game room is open daily and line-dancing classes are offered on Wednesday morning.  Also, Pud reports that the AARP is offering tax-return help at the W.

Walworth Harrison Public Library in Greenville from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (please arrive by 2) Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays through April 11.  And Pud says the Dallas Symphony Orchestra presents "The Best of John Williams" at 7:30 p.m.
