Lions Barely get by Abilene Christian

By Kevin Jefferies

Commerce – A little scare for the A&M-Commerce men's basketball team last night as Junior Jemart Miller buried a 3-pointer with just 11 seconds left in the game to hand the Lions an 85 to 84 victory over Abilene Christian. But a win is a win, and the Lions clinch a share of the Lone Star Conference title, and a first round home game in the LSC Tournament, which starts on Tuesday at the A&M-Commerce field house. The Lions can clinch the LSC title outright with a win tomorrow in the final game of the season as they visit Angelo State. Game time is set for 8 o'clock.
