A&M-Commerce hosting its own March Madness

Commerce, TX – Basketball teams from four high schools and four universities converge on the Texas A and M University-Commerce campus Friday afternoon and evening.

The local version of March Madness at the Texas A and M University-Commerce Field House begins with 3-A boys high school regional semifinal action. At noon, Kennedale meets Tyler-Chapel Hill followed by Princeton against Kemp. Following the high school doubleheader are the women's semifinal games of the Lone Star Conference tournament. Friday night at six is West Texas A and M versus Central Oklahoma, followed by A and M-Commerce and Angelo State.

Lieutenant Jason Bone at the University Police Department says Friday's visitors are invited to park around the Field House, specifically lots L, K, and D.

Saturday's schedule begins with the 3-A regional final at 4 then the LSC tournament final at 7:30.
