Greenville woman found guilty of murdering child

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A Greenville woman has been found guilty of murdering her infant child. The trial against Christi Denice King took only two days before a guilty verdict was handed down for the murder in the drowning death of her 10-month-old son. Not a single witness was called by the prosecution during the two days. A pre-sentence investigation has been scheduled as well as a punishment hearing for Sept. 29. King could face a sentence of from five to 99 years to life in prison, with no chance of probation.
