Greenville – Work is about to begin on a major overpass project in Greenville. Barricades are scheduled to be erected next week for the rebuilding of the State Highway 34/Wesley Street overpass across Interstate 30. The project has been designed to increase safety and enhance mobility along Interstate 30 in Greenville by constructing a new interstate overpass at the Monty Stratton Parkway, as well as a new Highway 34 Wesley Street Overpass, and much more. The largest part of the project is not expected to begin until after the first of the year. The entire $38.8 million dollar project is expected to take approximately 30 months to complete.
