Greenville – A guilty plea has been entered in a Greenville robbery. Billy Lee Massey entered the pleas Thursday to one count each of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and aggravated kidnapping. Massey was sentenced to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division on each charge, with the sentences to run concurrently. Reports indicate Massey was one of three people alleged to have held an employee of the eight-liner parlor on State Highway 34 at gunpoint and to have strapped him down with duct tape in mid-December. The victim was able to free himself about four hours later.
