Bonham – The Bonham School Board will meet in regular session Monday evening, which includes discussion of this month's general election.
Administrators had asked voters to approve $40 million in bonds to be used toward a number of campus improvements. Officials had stated that for a $50,000 home, the increased tax to cover the bond payment will be approximately $149 annually. The item failed, however, with 70 percent of voters against the measure.
Monday's agenda includes discussion of the next steps in providing quality facilities in which the public will be allowed to participate.
