Paris – Attorneys with the Innocence Project of Texas will file for a new trial for Danny Holloway of Paris.
DNA testing has been ordered on a knife that prosecutors said was used to kill Ashley Lee outside a Paris night club in 2001.
Holloway was convicted of the stabbing death and has spent the past 7 years in prison. The DNA test showed that the knife used to convict Holloway was not used to stab Lee.
