Evidence of racial bias found in Paris plant investigation

By Scott Harvey

Paris – A recent report by the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission indicates some claims of racial discrimination did in fact occur at the Turner Industries Plant in Paris.

The findings will now allow the plaintiffs to file a lawsuit should they choose to.

According to documents, the plaintiffs photographed images of swastikas, confederate flags and nooses on welders' helmets, cell phones and toolboxes at the company's facility.

Turner, which manufactures oil pipeline products, had previously conducted their own investigation and didn't find any instances of discrimination. The company says they have a zero tolerance policy for such action.
