Sulphur Springs – Sulphur Springs police are investigating a Sunday burglary at the office of the city pool.
Officials say the thieves stole the cash register, but it was recovered shortly afterwards, without any money inside.
The incident marks the second such offense in the area in the past several weeks, where vandalism occurred.
Detective Bo Fox says at this time it is unclear if the two crimes are related.
"At this time we don't know if they're connected there," Fox said. "The city pool is at Buford Park, but at this time we don't have enough information to know if there's a connection there."
Police currently have no leads on a possible identity of a suspect or suspects.
