Greenville – Under the agreement signed Monday, L-3 dropped its pursuit of an injunction that would prevent the re-plat of Major's Field Municipal Airport, on which the company is located.
However, the temporary restraining order was extended 90 days until May 2 and an attorney for L-3 said the company plans to reschedule a request for a temporary injunction prior to the deadline.
Officials with the Defense Contractor claim the City is using a re-plat of the airport to circumvent a recent ruling and make the land taxable. The City has denied those claims.
