Bonham – The Bonham City Council has voted in favor of a measure to prohibit gaming machines within 600 feet of a church, school, playground or hospital.
The ordinance also requires all game rooms to apply for a permit, which will impact eight businesses in the City.
One such establishment is within the 600 foot requirement. The City agreed to allow that business 30 days to meet the new rules.
