Greenville – A woman already facing trial for allegedly trying to kill her newborn daughter has pleaded not guilty to a new charge.
Lola Danielle Cherry, of Greenville, is currently facing an April 4 trial following an October 2009 incident where her child was found choking at a residence.
On Wednesday, Cherry entered a not guilty plea to have been in possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine in September 2010.
