Hopkins County – The U.S. Marshals service received some assistance locally in the search for a federal fugitive.
Hopkins County investigator Lewis Tatum was assisting when he came across the crew cab pickup along CR 1123 that was found to have been stolen in Commerce.
A tip to Hopkins County Communications would later lead to the arrest of Bobby Arlen Ray, of Ore City, who was captured in Harrison County. Ray had been wanted on a Morris County warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
