A&M System Chancellor visits Commerce to start Presidential search

The Texas A&M University System is looking for Presidents to lead 4 of the System's 9 campuses. System Chancellor Dr. Michael McKinney was in Commerce Friday, September 7th to start the process to find the person who will follow Dr. Keith McFarland next August.

Dr. McKinney visited with KETR General Manager Bill Oliver inbetween meetings with constituent groups; representing students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, businesspeople, and friends of A&M-Commerce.

Joining Dr. McKinney was System Vice Chancellor Dr. Frank Ashley, who recently returned to College Station from the Provost's position at A&M-Commerce. The System is in various stages of searching for Presidents in Commerce, Texarkana, Tarleton, and College Station.
