Iconic retail outlet back in business

GREENVILLE - Supporters of Mary of Puddin Hill in Greenville can again shop at the legendary store five months after the business closed its doors.

The iconic retail outlet, known for their fruitcakes and holiday treats, closed in May. Friday the business reopens and will continue operations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Mail-order operations will also start up again.

A deal to sell the business to an Addison-based company apparently fell through last month.
