GREENVILLE - The Greenville Police Department is investigating a possible relation between a shooting and traffic accident early Sunday morning.
Two people were treated locally for gunshot wounds in what reportedly stemmed from an argument at the Executive Inn along Interstate 30. A third gunshot victim did not require treatment.
Approximately three hours later at around 4 a.m. Sunday, two additional persons were hospitalized after a vehicle struck a tree at the intersection of Rees and Ina Streets.
No additional information was immediately available but police did say they believe the two incidents are related. An investigation is continuing.
