GREENVILLE - Charges in connection to a child abuse case in South Hunt County have been filed against a mother and her boyfriend.
Erin Elizabeth Saari and Trevor Scott Copeland, both of West Tawakoni, remained in jail at last report on $1 million bond apiece.
According to Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks, the child remained on a ventilator and in critical condition as of Thursday in a Dallas hospital.
Meeks said that Wednesday’s arrests were the result of a week long investigation after the Sheriff’s Office had received a call earlier this month.
