GREENVILLE - A local man is facing trial on charges of aggravated assault and deadly conduct in connection to a 2009 shooting.
Opening arguments and the start of testimony for Ronny Charles Baylor, of Greenville, are scheduled for Tuesday after a jury was selected Monday.
Baylor has pleaded not guilty to both charges, as well as a separate charge for allegedly attempting to intimidate a witness.
Baylor was jailed after an April 2009 incident in which a man was shot in the knee.
