About 100 people attended a ceremony this morning in Honey Grove welcoming the Texas Vietnam Heroes Exhibit. The traveling exhibition left McKinney early this morning and passed through Bonham on the way to Honey Grove, with a motorcycle escort by the Patriot Guard. The artwork by Austin Vietnam veteran Don Dorsey features dog tags bearing the names of the 3,417 Texas servicemen who died or were listed as Missing In Action in Vietnam. The artwork itself remained in its wooden crate today, but will be unveiled on Saturday at the Bertha Voyer Memorial Library in Honey Grove, where it will remain through Nov. 15.
