Three-car accident halts State Highway 24 traffic

Multiple injuries resulted from a three-car accident this morning occurring at approximately 10 a.m. on State Highway 24 South near Farm-to-Market Road 3132. Drivers from a compact Chevy car, a GM car and a Ford car were transported to the hospital by EMS following the accident.

Traffic was detoured and rerouted to allow first responders and emergency workers time to clear the debris from the scene. State Troopers arrived at 10:20 a.m. and were making an accident report prior to the vehicles been towed.

All drivers seemed to be responsive as they were taken for evaluation. The driver of the GM car received impact from both the front and rear, causing damage. Airbags deployed on all vehicles.
