Another life, that of O.G. Brewer of Cooper, was taken due to injuries sustained at the early morning wreck on State Highway 19/154 near the South Sulphur River and Delta/Hopkins County lines that occurred on Thursday, Aug. 13. He passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 19 following complications while on life support after being taken by air ambulance from the scene to a Plano hospital.
His wife, Vivian Brewer, was also a fatality in the accident involving a silver compact car and a bob tail dump truck. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
Her funeral services were Friday, Aug. 21, 2015 at Delta Funeral Home Chapel in Cooper and his were held on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015 at Delta Funeral Home. See full obituary inside this week's edition of the Cooper Review.
