The countdown is on to the start of tonight’s holiday show downtown Sulphur Springs. The twinkling lights will sparkle to the sounds of a specially designed mix of holiday music echoing through the streets of downtown beginning at 5 p.m.

Sulphur Springs City Manager Marc Maxwell is very excited about the uniquely chosen music and the fun interlude transitions. He said the music will begin at the top of the hour every hour until the final run which starts at midnight. Designers from Krohtech were on hand Wednesday night perfecting the show for the City.

Maxwell invites the public to visit and enjoy the beautiful illumination of colors on the trees, light poles, sidewalks and buildings.

“Seeing the show is great. The candy cane colored light poles virtually dancing to the sound of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy along with the sound of children laughing is exactly what we had envisioned for this project,” added Maxwell.
