Cooper Election Will Decide New Mayor

Vying for the position of Mayor of Cooper will be Joseph Flanery, Amanda L’Esperance, Carl Reel, Darren Braddy and Galen Kimbrell (as listed on the ballot).";

With early voting wrapped up for the 2017 City Election, of the 1,205 registered voters inside the City of Cooper limits only 108 had cast their early votes at the Cooper ISD administration building. In comparison there were 200 total votes in the last City election.

Election Day is this Saturday, May 6 at City Hall, located at 91 North Side Square in Cooper from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.Vying for the position of Mayor of Cooper will be Joseph Flanery, Amanda L’Esperance, Carl Reel, Darren Braddy and Galen Kimbrell (as listed on the ballot).

Competing for the two open City Council positions will be Allen Foster and Bobby Rhein along with incumbents E.J. Cates and Donna Thomason.
