Trump Names Grayson DA to Federal Post

Grayson County District Attorney Joe Brown Wednesday was named U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas by President Donald Trump. 

Brown has been Grayson County’s DA for 17 years. He was one of seven DAs named to federal positions by the White House Wednesday. One of the other seven was former state district court judge Ryan Patrick, son of Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.
