The hard working dedicated dispatchers at the Delta County Sheriff’s office were recently rewarded and honored by the Ark-Tex Council of Government (ATCOG) 911 Program. They were presented with gifts and Certificates of Appreciation.

For National Public Safety Telecommunications Week the public is reminded of those who are the first point of contact in emergency situations. Their ability to do their jobs is crucial in times of personal crisis, accidents, and other emergencies. As stated in a release from 911 Program these individuals “work long shifts and continually serve to provide a lifeline to those in need!”
