One of the three solar farms under consideration in Hunt County looks to be a go. On Wednesday, the USDA approved a 96-acre solar farm off County Road 10-61 just north of Greenville.
The 10-megawatt site is projected to cost about 12 and a half million dollars to build. No word on what exactly it will power but the farm could provide some tax money to benefit the Greenville ISD.
