- In western Hunt County, a grass fire on Tuesday burned more than 53 acres before being contained. Multiple departments responded to the blaze along State Highway 6, between Caddo Mills and Josephine. Crews doused the fire around 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon.
- Parts of Northeast Texas received some rainfall Tuesday, though some areas remained dry. Heaviest rainfall was recorded along Interstate 30, near the Hunt County-Hopkins County line. Cumby received more than 3 inches in a pop-up thunderstorm yesterday. Commerce got between 1 and 2 inches. Most locations in Greenville and Sulphur Springs received a little less than an inch. Elsewhere around the region, Bonham got less than a quarter inch, though some areas just northwest of Bonham got two and a half inches. Most of Paris remained dry, though northern and eastern Lamar County did receive rainfall. Quinlan got between a quarter and a half inch. Emory received a little more than an inch. Rain accumulations varied dramatically locally due to the thunderstorms being small and short-lived but dumping heavy rainfall here and there across the region.
