GREENVILLE - Filing continues through 6 p.m. George Alexander, of Greenville, will oppose District 2 State Representative Dan Flynn, of Van, after filing for the position Tuesday. No Democrats had filed for the post as of Thursday afternoon.
New voter registration cards are scheduled to be sent out after April 25 and runoff elections, if needed, will be held in July.
