Commerce – A March 2006 study conducted by the North Central Texas Council of Governments has named Commerce as the fastest growing city if Hunt County. According to the report, Commerce has a projected growth rate of 3.43% for 2005-2006. Greenville is next on the list, with projected growth of 2.94%. Other cities in Hunt County showed no growth rate, but the county as a whole has a projected growth of 2.44% for the year.
