Commerce – A charge in connection with a reported robbery in Commerce has been dropped. During a pre-trial hearing Thursday, charges were dismissed against Christopher Lamont Anderson, of Greenville. Anderson was alleged to have used a handgun to threaten a female victim in Commerce while stealing money in Oct, 2006. An issued statement indicates neither the victim nor the other eyewitness could identify the defendant and without a clear identification, there was not sufficient physical evidence to prove Anderson as guilty.
