"When I arrived at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2008... Hispanic student enrollment was around 7%. And today we're around 18%," said A&M-Commerce president Dr. Dan Jones during the November recording for his monthly radio program, The President's Perspective.

On the program, Jones, invites Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management for Hispanic Outreach and Retention Dr. Fred Fuentes to share stories of success from the focused initiative aimed at increasing Hispanic enrollment, and also to share some of his own story as a Hispanic student who attended college at A&M-Commerce.

The President's Perspective is a monthly half-hour chat with the president and CEO of Texas A&M University-Commerce, Dr. Dan Jones. The program is produced locally at KETR's studio complex in Binnion Hall on Education Drive in Commerce.
