This week Alice reviews Kingsman: The Secret Service, with Colin Firth and Samuel L. Jackson, Fifty Shades of Grey, starring Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, and the Oscar-nominated animated film Song of the Sea.

Kingsman is a throwback to the 1960's Bond movies, but a bit more raunchy. If you're interested in a movie about saving the world and defeating the lisping bad guy, this is probably a movie for you. Fifty Shades of Grey is the movie based on the the first of the three books by E.L. James. A plain, young women is seduced by a powerful man with a few secrets. Many women have been waiting on this movie, and Alice thinks they won't be disappointed, at least not until the end. Finally, Song of the Sea is an animated film that follows a young boy and his dog on a search through magical worlds for his sister. It's nominated for the Best Animated Feature at this year's Oscars, and Alice says it was onscreen poetry.
