Early voting continues this week

Early voting continues this week in advance of the Nov. 5 election which will determine the fate of more the 12 million dollars in bonds.

Voters can cast ballots in Greenville, Commerce or Quinlan for the bond election over a state-wide election on amending the Texas Constitution.

Voters who live in certain areas of Hunt County may also be able to participate, with elections also being held  in Josephine and Cumby.

Voters need to make sure to have legal ID with them when casting ballots.

Early voting is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day through Friday at the Hunt County Voter Administration Office in Downtown Greenville, at the Commerce City Hall and at Quinlan City Council Chambers.

The hospital district has a special election scheduled Nov. 5 with one item on the ballot seeking voter approval of 12.3 million dollars in bonds to pay for three major projects.
