Exciting times in astronomy

Texas A&M University-Commerce associate professor of astronomy and the director of the University Planetarium, Dr. Kent Montgomery, discusses the construction of severalgigantic telescopes that will revolutionize astronomy, and and also proposals forhigh-altitude aircraft that would rival the Hubble Space Telescope in the images they produce.  Kent also discusses the "Exploding Universe" program at the Planetarium that begins Friday, September 19.
