April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

Celeste Prather-Young of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Hunt County and Holly Robinson of the Child Advocacy Center tell us that April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.  Celeste says 83 percent of CASA cases are related to methamphetamine abuse.  In 2014, CASA advocated in court for 278 children, up by about 75 children from the previous year.
