Drivers keeping cars longer, some over 200,000 miles

The average age ofcars on U.S. highways is now 11 years, with 200,000 miles of travel increasingly common, according to Wyman Williams, long time general manager of Williams Motors in Commerce, and now director of development for the Texas A&M University-Commerce College of Business.
