Texas Legislature approves A-F school-rating system, increases funding for pre-K

Commerce ISD superintendent Blake Cooper says the A-F school-rating system passed by thestate legislature will place less emphasis on standardized testing than the previous school-evaluation system.  He says the legislature also has increased state funding for pre-kindergarten programs.
