Greenville Population Topped 14,000 ... Maybe: 1916

Hunt County Historical Commission chairman Carol Taylor says, driven by incentives created by the railroad, the city of Greenville produced a new directory, that placed the city's population at 14,160.  Carol says the first Historical Commission meeting of 2016 will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 28 Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum in Greenville.
