Alice: 'Hostiles' Reminiscent Of John Ford's Westerns

Herald-Banner movie critic Alice Reese says the new Western "Hostiles"starring Christian Bale reminds her of the great Westerns made by director John Ford, including "The Searchers" and "Cheyenne Autumn."  Alice also admires "The Post," the story of the Washington Post during the time of the Pentagon Papers, directed by Stephen Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep.
