Texas Economy Strong, But It May Not Transfer To The Budget

Texas A&M-Commerce economics professor Dr. Dale Funderburk reflects on an article from the Dallas branch of the Federal Reserve showing a strong Texas economy, that was fourth in U.S. job growth last year.  With labor in demand, wages and salaries are expected to grow this year.  However, a Texas Tribune article says, despite the expanding economy, the state budget is expected to be tight in the next biennium.
