Commerce Wants Students To Claim It As Home For U.S. Census

City of Commerce, Facebook

Commerce Mayor Wyman Williams says the city wants Texas A&M-Commerce students to give Commerce as their place of residence in the upcoming U.S. Census.  The mayor says the Census Bureau estimates that Commerce was 24 percent undercounted in the 2010 census because students were not counted.  Students can get temporary jobs paying about $20 per hour helping to conduct the census, which begins in March.
